require of our services. All of our actions should
be framed by ethical behavior and a commitment with
excellence. We should always try to keep up to date
with the advances of our legislation and current
affairs, both national and international, to be
able to make our decisions based on the application
of our understanding of the local conditions but
in the frame of global relationships. The requirements
of our clients' and their instructions should be
assisted with readiness and efficiency. We should
try to maintain the costs of our services within
fair parameters for our clients, as well as for
our lawyers and employees, trying to obtain a reasonable
profit and always completing all legal and government
requirements.
Our lawyers and our employees are the people that
make possible the benefit of our services. The treatment
that you/they receive should be dignified and respectful
of their identity and their human condition. Their
remuneration should be fair and appropriate to provide
them and their families an appropriate living standard,
and the work atmosphere should be favorable to motivate
their development, both professional and personal.
In order for this to happen, they should feel secure
in their jobs within a system that allows them to
ascend inside the firm’s structure in accordance
with their personal capacity and ability, as well
as to be supported in the solution of their problems.
Their work conditions should be pleasant and good
for the full development of their activities, trying
to maintain an atmosphere free of concerns in which
personal initiative, pro-activity and creativity
are rewarded. They should be able at any time to
make contributions and suggestions to improve the
quality of our services, the work atmosphere and
our projection toward the community.
We also have a responsibility towards our community.
Therefore all of our actions and those of our personnel
should be based on ethics and respect for the law
and toward our fellow men. Nevertheless, by virtue
of our commitment towards improving the environment
in our community, we should question those laws
and unfair policies making use of every resource
that the Law provides us to try and change them.
Finally, we have a responsibility toward our partners
for which we should guarantee that they make a fair
profit based on the principles hereby established.
